On Q Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in animal health to recruit an experienced Technical Project Manager for their manufacturing site on a 12-month contract. The site produces sterile and drench pharmaceutical products and is preparing for several new product introductions in 2026.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects to bring new products and active ingredients into production, oversee technology transfer between sites, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with teams across Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement and Research and Development to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of new product introduction and technology transfer projects
  • Partner with Research and Development to align product development with manufacturing capabilities
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice and site quality standards
  • Drive collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
  • Report project progress, risks and outcomes to senior management
About You:
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will coordinate and influence teams across multiple locations. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • A degree in Science or Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, food or medical device industry
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven background in technical or project management within a regulated manufacturing setting
  • Strong understanding of formulation, fill-finish and pharmaceutical production processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project Management qualification (desirable)
This role requires onsite presence a minimum of three days per week, with a preference for full-time onsite engagement.
