On Q Recruitment is currently recruiting a Study Manager on behalf of a global animal health organisation. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to join a high-performing and well-regarded team.
Reporting to Director of Study Management, you will be be responsible for designing, conducting, managing, and reporting clinical and field studies across both companion and farm animal segments to support product development and label extensions.You will combine hands-on animal work with project management responsibilities and you will get exposure to both local and global R&D programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of concurrent animal studies, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison with global R&D sponsors and internal stakeholders
- Lead study design discussions and ensure compliance with GLP and relevant regulatory standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including laboratory services, statistical groups, and regulatory functions
- Provide timely and accurate documentation to the Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) and ensure high standards of animal welfare
- Participate in audits and inspections, maintaining high standards of animal welfare and ethical conduct
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:
- A veterinary or science degree.
- Strong experience/understanding of research and development processes in animal or human health.
- Strong communication, coordination, and project management capabilities.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with GLP, GCP, or other regulatory frameworks will be highly regarded.
