We are seeking an experienced Senior/Medical Information Specialist to join a major pharmaceutical client on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a relevant background and experience in Medical Information to support healthcare professionals and patients with essential product information.

  • Sydney (2-3 days per week in office)
  • Contract Type: Contractor (full-time hours)
  • Start: ASAP
  • Enquiries Volume: Approx. 350–450 per month
  • Team: Small local team with regional experience for support 
Responsibilities:
  • Handle medical information enquiries via phone and from sales force
  • Be a 2IC to the Medical Information Team based in Malaysia
  • Respond appropriately to adverse event reports in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Utilize cloud-based platforms (e.g., VEEVA) to manage information and documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely medical responses
Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Pharmacy or nursing background
  • Previous experience of 2-5 years in medical information
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as diabetes and oncology
  • Exposure to VEEVA or similar cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to work autonomously in a smaller, fast-paced local team setting
  • Experience of leading or guiding and mentoring peers/colleagues.
