You will assist the Senior Scientific Affairs Manager in ensuring the company’s claims and content are scientifically sound and compliant with relevant regulations. You will have the opportunity to support various product portfolios from concept to product launch.
About the Role
- Help to ensure marketing and claims for complementary medicine products align with relevant regulatory guidelines (TGA, FSANZ).
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of regulatory dossiers, product technical files and scientific substantiation documents.
- Conduct literature reviews to support ingredient safety, efficacy and mechanism of action.
- Ensure the resource library for references is maintained.
- Review and ensure all promotional content, labelling, and packaging complies with applicable regulations.
- Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including contract manufacturers, major suppliers, customers and industry associations.
- Collaborate cross functionally to support new product development and ongoing product maintenance.
- At least 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs or product development for complementary medicine or FMCG space.
- Solid understanding of relevant regulatory environments (TGA, FSANZ)
- Qualifications as a naturopath or nutritionist are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator, with the ability to collaborate cross functionally.
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
