About the Roles
We are working with a federal government division responsible for critical pricing, compliance and supply security functions relating to PBS listed medicines. These teams play a key role in ensuring medicines remain accessible, accurately priced and supported by strong regulatory processes.
There are multiple opportunities available at APS5 and APS6 level across pricing operations.
What You'll Be Doing Depending on level, you'll be involved in a mix of:
- Assessing pricing applications, reviewing industry information and preparing the supporting analysis and documentation.
- Managing casework relating to stockholding requirements, evidence reviews and compliance actions.
- Drafting briefs, minutes, correspondence, policy papers and legislative artefacts.
- Conducting data analysis and synthesising information to support decision‑makers.
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, sponsors and other stakeholders to progress issues and maintain accurate records.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to prepare clear, high‑quality documents.
- Solid analytical capability, comfortable working with data, evidence and structured problem solving.
- Confidence dealing with stakeholders and building productive working relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Experience in policy, regulation, compliance, health or similar fields is valued, particularly at APS6.
- Accurate, timely assessments and casework.
- High quality written products that meet APS standards.
- Clear, evidence based advice that supports operational and policy decision making.
- Consistent, reliable management of legislative, regulatory and administrative tasks.
- Influence health policy impacting Australians nationwide.
