An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Omnichannel Manager
to join the Medical Affairs team of a leading pharmaceutical organisation. This newly created role will play a critical part in building and embedding omnichannel capability across multiple therapeutic areas, supporting scientific engagement and medical communications through innovative digital strategies. Based in Sydney, this position offers a flexible hybrid working model.
About the Role
Reporting to the Medical Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing digital customer engagement initiatives, ensuring Medical Affairs content reaches healthcare professionals through the most effective and compliant channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute omnichannel engagement strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Create and implement scientific content dissemination plans.
- Partner with Medical Affairs teams to optimise healthcare professional engagement.
- Support MSL teams with digital engagement tools and customer communication strategies.
- Leverage platforms, email campaigns, websites and medical information channels.
- Utilise customer insights, segmentation and performance data to improve engagement outcomes.
- Manage external agencies and content vendors.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Ensure all activities align with Medicines Australia Code, regulatory requirements and medical compliance standards.
- Drive adoption of best-practice omnichannel approaches across Medical Affairs.

About You
You are a highly proactive and commercially aware omnichannel professional who enjoys working autonomously and influencing stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing omnichannel strategies within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences sector.
- Experience supporting field-based teams through digital content and customer engagement programs.
- Experience managing agencies and content development partners.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using dashboards, reporting tools and customer insights.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and build new capabilities within a growing function.
- Knowledge of Medicines Australia Code and healthcare compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to therapeutic areas such as Cardiometabolic Health, Obesity, Neuroscience, Oncology or Immunology.
