We are seeking an experienced Medical Information Specialist to join a major pharmaceutical client on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a pharmacy or nursing background to contribute to a high-impact role supporting healthcare professionals and patients with essential product information.
- Sydney (3 days per week in office)
- Contract Type: Contractor (full-time hours)
- Start: ASAP
- Enquiries Volume: Approx. 350–450 per month
- Team: Small local team with regional experience for support
- Handle medical information enquiries via phone and from sales force
- Respond appropriately to adverse event reports in compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize cloud-based platforms (e.g., VEEVA) to manage information and documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely medical responses
- Pharmacy or nursing background
- Previous experience in medical information or pharmacovigilance preferred
- Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as diabetes and oncology
- Exposure to VEEVA or similar cloud-based platforms
- Ability to work autonomously in a smaller, fast-paced local team setting
