We’re working with a federal government agency involved in national health and aged care pricing. The team analyses complex datasets, develops pricing models and provides insights that guide major funding decisions.
This is a full time, 12‑month contract based in Sydney, with potential to extend.
They are looking for an experienced Technical Manager, Analytics (EL1) to deliver advanced analysis, modelling and technical advice across high impact projects.
What you’ll do
- Analyse large health and aged care datasets to support statistical and cost modelling.
- Contribute to the development of national pricing models.
- Provide technical input to improve a secure benchmarking portal.
- Produce clear technical papers and analysis.
- Work with stakeholders and executives to explain modelling and insights.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills.
- Proficient in SAS, SQL or Python.
- Able to deliver complex analysis in policy driven environments.
- Confident communicator across technical and non technical audiences.
- Collaborative, detail focused and comfortable in multidisciplinary teams.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or equivalent professional experience.
