About the Role
- EL1 Project Manager - Aged Care Accommodation Database Development
- 12-month labour hire (with strong potential to extend)
- Classification: EL1
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project lifecycle - plan, gather requirements, and deliver a robust database solution.
- Manage procurement end-to-end - oversee vendor selection and contract processes in line with Commonwealth standards.
- Collaborate with vendors - refine technical requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Keep projects on track - monitor timelines, budgets, and risks; implement corrective actions.
- Champion governance - maintain accurate documentation and compliance artefacts.
- Engage stakeholders effectively - chair meetings, communicate progress, and foster collaboration.
- Deliver clear insights - prepare high-quality reports for senior executives and governance committees.
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate:
- Proven experience in IT project management and delivery of complex, high-risk projects.
- Strong background in government procurement and contract management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under limited direction and deliver quality outcomes.
- Qualifications in project management, IT, health information management, or public administration (highly regarded).
