About the Role
- EL1 Senior Data Analyst - Aged Care
- 12-month labour hire contract (with strong potential to extend through 2027/2028)
- Classification: EL1
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions using MS Excel to meet operational needs.
- Analyse and interpret data holdings from MS Access databases to answer policy questions.
- Create continuity tools - develop policies and procedures for replicating queries and formulas post-contract.
- Enhance analytical frameworks for improved price comparison and reporting.
- Produce technical papers and reports for advisory committees and executive briefings.
- Provide expert advice across the Aged Care Accommodation section and broader policy branch.
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate:
- Strong technical and analytical skills in mathematics, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Experience with SAS, SQL, MS Excel, or Python (MS Access optional).
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Qualifications in mathematics, statistics, or related fields (highly regarded).
