Proteomics International Laboratories Ltd is a pioneering listed Australian company at the forefront of predictive diagnostics and bio-analytical services. With a global reputation for excellence and a robust pipeline of novel blood-based diagnostics, PIQ targets major unmet needs in chronic disease, including diabetic kidney disease, esophageal cancer and endometriosis.
As PIQ embarks on its next phase, transitioning from research-driven origins to a commercially led global business, the Board seeks an experienced executive to be the next visionary CEO. The successful candidate will lead the acceleration of commercial operations, drive international launches (with a priority on the US market), and build a cohesive team capable of delivering innovation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy by advancing global market entry and guiding multi-disciplinary teams.
- Drive commercial success for the Promarker diagnostic suite and secure new partnerships.
- Build organisational capability and maintain a culture balancing innovation with operational excellence.
- Navigate complex capital markets, stakeholder, and investor environments, ideally with ASX and international experience.
About You
- Executive experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences, with a strong track record in product commercialisation and US/global launches.
- Demonstrated strength in capital markets, investor relations, and stakeholder management.
- Experienced in scaling teams from R&D to milestone-driven, commercial outcomes.
- Collaborative, high-EQ leader able to build trust, alignment, and navigate Board and external stakeholder relationships with integrity.
