This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong sponsor and CRO relationships, leading bid defense meetings, and contributing to proposal and budget development. You will manage the sales pipeline, support feasibility processes, represent the organization at industry events, and ensure smooth handover of awarded studies to operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clinical trial opportunities
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
- Contribute to competitive proposals, budgets, and contract processes
- Maintain CRM data and support sales strategy
- Build and nurture long-term stakeholder relationships
- Support continuous improvement and team development
- Experience in business development within clinical research, biotech, or pharma
- Strong knowledge of early-phase trials and regulatory environments (ICH-GCP desirable)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated setting
- Relevant qualification in health, science, or equivalent experience
