Role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing quotations, supporting import/export clients, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers, overseas agents, and internal operational teams. This role plays a critical part in driving growth, service excellence, and market expansion across NSW.
Reporting into the accomplished Commercial Director, your focus will cover:
- Manage a defined NSW territory with strong knowledge of importers, exporters, and competitors.
- Coordinate with overseas agents on international bookings, sales leads, and shipment tracking.
- Support the onboarding of new accounts, including documentation and customer introductions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of import/export opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, internal branches, and regional teams.
- Contribute to the development of value‑added logistics solutions and pricing models.
- Participate in industry events, trade groups, and ongoing training programs.
