You’ll be responsible for developing new import/export business across Sydney and wider NSW, working closely with overseas agents and internal operational teams to deliver tailored, valueโadded logistics solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving new business growth across a defined NSW territory
- Building and converting a strong pipeline of import/export opportunities
- Managing quotations, pricing and commercial negotiations
- Supporting import/export customers with endโtoโend freight solutions
- Coordinating with overseas agents on bookings, sales leads and shipment progress
- Assisting with onboarding new clients, including documentation and operational handovers
- Developing strong relationships with customers, internal teams and regional stakeholders
- Contributing to pricing models and valueโadded logistics offerings
- Attending industry events, trade forums and professional development activities
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, ideally in import/export sales or operations
- Demonstrated success in winning and growing new business
- Strong quoting, pricing and negotiation capability
- Excellent communication and relationshipโbuilding skills
- High levels of organisation, accountability and selfโmotivation
