Our Client are a global leader in specialized services for the life sciences industry, supporting clients across regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, clinical development, and quality management.
Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying and securing new opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. You’ll drive revenue by nurturing key relationships, closing high-value deals, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow your sales territory, managing both existing accounts and new business opportunities.
- Generate new clients via cold outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify emerging players in the market and present the Client's value proposition to win new business.
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine service offerings and proposals.
- Representation at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Participate in global and regional sales meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven success in business development or B2B sales within clinical, regulatory, or pharmacovigilance services (with preferably knowledge across all).
- A hunter mindset with the ability to source, engage, and close new clients.
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry in the ANZ region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a global matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel within the ANZ region and internationally as required.
