OnQ Recruitment are partnering with a growing, specialist clinical research consultancy to appoint two Biostatisticians and/or SAS Programmers to support an increasing pipeline of clinical trial work.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly collaborative, close-knit team working remotely across Australia, with strong flexibility and excellent development support.


The Role You will contribute to the delivery of statistical analysis and/or SAS programming across a range of clinical trials, working closely with an experienced and supportive team.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Statistical analysis of clinical trial data
  • SAS programming (tables, listings, figures)
  • Supporting study deliverables and reporting
  • Collaborating across multiple projects and teams
  • Potential client interaction (for more experienced hires)
About You We are open to a range of profiles, including:

Biostatisticians:

  • Degree (ideally MSc) in Statistics or related discipline
  • Exposure to clinical trials (preferred but not essential)
  • Some programming capability
SAS Programmers:
  • Strong SAS programming skills
  • Experience with clinical data or clinical trials (preferred)
  • Candidates from data management backgrounds looking to transition are encouraged
Experience Levels
  • Graduate / early career candidates with strong foundations
  • Mid-level professionals (3–5 years experience)
  • Senior candidates who can contribute immediately
Ideally, one hire will be more experienced, with another at junior level.

Technical Environment

  • SAS (training provided if required)
  • Exposure to R beneficial
  • Structured onboarding including training and mentoring
