Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex debt recovery and compliance activities.
- Conduct investigations and recovery actions in line with legislation, policy and Commonwealth standards.
- Prepare clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, negotiation and case outcomes.
- Interpret legislation, policy and procedural requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced compliance controls.
- Debt recovery, compliance, regulatory, investigations or case management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of legislation, policy and governance frameworks.
- Experience preparing briefs, reports and recommendations.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- APS, Commonwealth, regulatory agency or legal environment experience highly regarded.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
- Successful candidates performing this role may also be required to obtain an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) organisational suitability assessment.
