This APS4 Administration Officer opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working with complex information, managing competing priorities, and contributing to important regulatory outcomes.

About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support within a busy federal government environment. Working across application processing, records management, and stakeholder correspondence, you will help ensure prescription medicine approvals, registrations, and associated documentation are accurately managed and updated within regulatory systems.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive priorities while working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
  • Process and finalise prescription medicine approval documentation for inclusion in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG)
  • Monitor and action high-priority inboxes, ensuring requests and responses are managed within required timeframes
  • Perform quality assurance checks on documentation and maintain accurate records within corporate databases and document management systems
  • Process Commencement of Supply Notifications and update regulatory records with a high degree of accuracy
  • Review and update existing ARTG entries to ensure information remains current and compliant
  • Assist with administrative projects, records management activities, and broader team support requirements
  • Utilise systems including TRIM, HCL Notes, Microsoft Outlook and Oracle databases
