As a Senior Chemistry Analyst, you will lead chemical analysis projects, contribute to method development, and ensure testing complies with quality and accreditation standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct, analyse, and report on chemical testing of medicines to verify quality and safety.
- Contribute to the planning and development of testing projects, including identifying priority products for review.
- Develop, validate, and review testing methods, protocols, and tools to ensure reliability.
- Manage calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, resolving technical issues and preparing reports.
- Prepare and review high-quality scientific reports, manuals, SOPs, and technical guidelines.
- Stay current with new testing methods and provide training to laboratory staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Chemistry Section.
- Degree in Chemistry
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemistry, analytical techniques, and laboratory testing protocols.
- Proven experience working in an accredited laboratory (ISO, GMP, or equivalent).
- Strong ability to analyse complex data, provide objective advice, and deliver high-quality written reports.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Previous experience as an analytical or forensic chemist will be highly regarded.
